The editor’s of Nature’s Best Photography Magazine invite all Photographers to enter the Wineland Smith Rice International Awards 2017 Competition.
The Category Winners and a selection of Highly Honoured entrants will have their work showcased in the annual awards exhibition at the Smithsonian’s National Museum of Natural History in Washington DC.
All Finalists will be published in the 2017 Fall/Winter special collector’s Edition of the Nature’s Best Photography Magazine and featured in online galleries and social media.
Photographers will be judged on technical quality, originality, artistic merit and overall appeal.
Each entry costs: $30 US Adult / $20 US Youth (age 18 and under as of 3/31/2017) allows for the submission of up to 25 images.
Nature’s Best Photography – Wineland Smith Rice Awards 2017
Open Adult – 8 categories, open to all
Youth – specific category, for photographers aged under 18 years.
The awards offer various categories including: African Wildlife, Wildlife, Birds, Landscapes, Ocean Views, Outdoor Adventure, Polar Passion and Conservation Story which offers opportunity to submit a documentary series of upto 25 images or video with accompanying narrative.
Also a separate Nature in Motion HD-Video Category
2017 Competition Dates
- Deadline: 11.59PM Eastern Standard Time 31st March 2017 is the closing date for all photographic entries.
